In seconds you can store geocaches including all informations like the last logs, the waypoints and the images to your device over the direct API access. Or you can import a gpx file or a pocket query. All data will be stored on your device for offline usage.

Log your founds with images and trackables instantly or after your trip in the app. Also you can export them as fieldnotes to the geocaching website. And this not only for you but also for your complete team.

One of the highlights of Looking4Cache are the offline maps from OpenStreetMap like you found nowhere else. Choose and download the maps including contour lines directly in the app and use them in dead spots or in foreign countries without roaming costs. You can download whole states or complete countries.

Key functions:
- Get Caches from the Geocaching Live API or from GPX Files
- Manage caches in lists and find them with a lot of sort and filter options.
- Directly log a cache or send field notes. Also for multiple users. Owner logs are possible.
- Live map: Caches can be shown on the map without download them through the search.
- Search and log trackables.
- GCVote integration.
- Maps: OpenStreetMap, OpenCycleMap, MapQuest, Bing and more.
- Offline topo vector maps. A country on your pocket!
- Offline caching completely supported.
- Save power and cache longer. The GPS changes the accuracy automatically based on the distance to the cache.

Attention: To access the geocaches you need a user on Groundspeak´s Geocaching plattform (.com). According to your membership type the amount of data is restricted. Basic Members could load 3 full cache descriptions per day and up to 6000 lite descriptions. To get full access you should have a premium account.

This does it all

This amazing app does it all, and so much more! I’m not going to go into detail because I just spent an hour and a half writing about dozens and dozens of functionalities it has that you cannot get from the standard app, and accidentally deleted them before posting my review. Ack! But trust me, it does so much and makes things so easy, especially in the use of photos in ways you would never imagine and in organizing lists for challenges. In writing up my aborted review, I just covered many more things I wasn’t even aware of. Spend the money, get this app; there is so much more going on than in the preview images that the developer has posted in the images above. I’ve been using it exclusively for over two years and brag on it all the time. Six stars!

Like having GSAK in your hand

Have been using L4C for several years and don’t like to cache without it. Being able to log more than one cacher opens this up to a whole new experience. Sorting, filtering and updating on the fly are invaluable on a cache run. This is one of those apps/programs that can do more than you can find in a few sessions. If you’re on the fence about trying L4C, just do it!

Full-featured, nicely laid out

I recently downloaded an app (not this one) that has high ratings on the app store and it turned out to be a huge disappointment. It turned out the cache search feature sinplymdid not work and the developer readily admitted to this after complaining. Suffice it to say I requested and received my money back. This app however is full-featured and very nicely laid out. It connects to geocache.com if you are a member and downloads the caches quickly right into the app. I am so far very impressed with this app. This is one that appears to be worth every penny paid for it and so far lives up to expectations!

My go to caching app

Still my favorite caching app, and I have & tried them all! Great for the power user & occasional cacher alike.

Very good

With Geosphere no longer supported on iOS 11, I took another look at caching apps. No app does all what Geosphere offered, but after trying them all I think the pro version of this app is the best. I like the hillshade option for offline vector maps. The interface takes a little getting used to, but it has a nice display that is focused on the maps. The color scheme is far better than some of its competitors. It does a lot and does it better than anything out there (excepting Geosphere).

A great geocaching app!

This is a great app and is easily worth the price. It's multi-user support is great for families and friends that cache together! And that is only the start of the features.

Super Geocaching App!

The "It's Not About The Numbers" review made me take a look at this app. The next day I purchased it after only minor use of that Lite version. The iPad version really is 'gold'. Search and filter are great. I am still learning what some the icons and options are for and expect that even neater things can be done. I have even used the iPhone GPS to find caches when I've been without my Garmin. As Geocachers say TFTA, (thanks for the app)!

No support contact found - Error 2 Unauthorized
By TheView

All was working fine and now I can't do a search on either a Cache ID or Coordinates. Get Error 2 - not authorized message. This the Pro App on my IPad Air. What to do? Thanks Ed P.S. will change rating upon a resolution.

Less Than What I Wanted
Mulvaney18

I purchased this for its use of offline maps for an upcoming trip. It has features that come close to the app I normally use, but it's display and workflow are not as intuitive. And there are certain functions I miss. Perhaps it's just the learning curve . . . so I will continue to work with it for the time being.

Great Cache App

I really like the features of this App and it allows selection of Open Streets and Bing maps. Much more helpful than simply using iOS maps. It links into the database of just about all GeoCaches and I have had succces finding caches in state parks near me. I think it is worth the price.
