Cool!

AppMonster_LA

I was already in love with my Loog and this app makes just the perfect combo! Love it.

Surprisingly good!

Ljordy

Of course this geared towards a younger audience and to the 3 string guitars that loog sells. My kids find it easy to use and engaging - the tie in to chord videos when looking at chord charts is quite clever. It can also provide tuning and chord support for six strings as well. Looking forward to more lessons being integrated.

Finally here...

Melafefon25Soluto

A must have if you want your kids to be able to play songs on a guitar from day one.

Useless for Electric Loog

Savemesf

I can't believe this app still does not show the proper chords for the Electric Loog DGB tuning :(

Broke my strings

TheUnrulyOne

The tuner portion of the app continued to tell me to tighten my strings until they snapped.

Snapped string tuning

hustleandhype

Read the other reviews about string snapping while tuning, so was extra careful but it snapped anyway. Now it’s Christmas morning and I’m sitting here waiting for more guitar strings from amazon looking at my guitar instead of trying to play. Bought two more for the kids that I’m afraid to tune now.

Had such potential but disappointed

Rwood213

Bought the guitar for my 8 yr old she was so excited to play since it was smaller then regular guitar and we thought with the app this would be a great way for her to learn the chords and play songs. WRONG! It had so much potential and still could be great if they made some much needed changes. The songs should have more instructions with them showing where to place the fingers and when to strum. Also would be nice if it followed u not u trying to follow a really fast pace song. Also only has 1 game to play with the guitar and that goes so fast it doesn’t even let a beginner find the right note before it tells you ur wrong. I don’t normally write reviews and I actually just sent an email to the company explaining my disappointment. This has the potential to be great and I love the guitar itself it’s just the app expects way to much from children supposedly as young as 3, no way! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT THE WAY IT IS CURRENTLY!

I love the Loog, but I reccomend the android version.

Aloiol

There seems to be a tuning problem with this version, but the android version doesn't have this.

Cute but broken.

lyricsboy

The features that rely on detecting notes from the guitar are totally borked. The game will just tell you you’re wrong right away. The chord unlock for the songs can be easily fooled by talking to it.

What an Amazing & Magical App!

madfilmmaker

Not quite sure what’s going on with the negative reviews. This app is fun, colorful, and inspiring! I’m 27 and learned guitar at the age of 7. For my dyslexic brain I would have love this waaaaay more then black and white lines of music notes. They even have that hall of fame to inspire kids to want to post videos!! How cool is it to be a kid right now! You can even dress up your avatar!! I’m loving it! This app has put the fun into playing music and opening your mind to explore with the 3 strings!! I have a lot of respect for the designers, rock n roll guys!
