Great way to introduce the procedure!

I am definitely going to use this to introduce the long division process to my fourth graders! This will be especially helpful for those students who don't really know their facts, since it shows the multiples.

This is a great way to review, or teach, long division for those of us who teach basic math skills. Our community college has a basic skills class and (I know you'll believe me when I state) many young adults can't do long division. I'm going to replace much of my chalk review with this app projected onto the big screen. It will be efficient and clear, for the various aspects of division that it shows.

Exactly what I needed to help my daughter truly visualize what is happening in long division. When the numbers light up and physically drag into each other, she enthusiastically said, "oh, now I see it!" And even the lesson on the decimals within long division - outstanding!! Thank you! I am 21 and I have been out of school since I was 15 I did not graduate and I was not going to get my GED because I could not do long division, I'm happy to say thanks to this app I will be taking my GED test within the month and I know I'm gonna pass!
