Productivity Free Dechnia LLC iPhone, iPad, iPod

LogiScope is a full functional 16 channel logic analyzer. It's capabilities include up to 100MSPS sampling rate, SPI, I2C, UART, and parallel decoding. It allows you to trigger on virtually any type of event, multiple events, a series of events from single, multiple, serial, decoded, and even parallel data.

Gone are the days of capturing a massive buffer and then panning through all the data to find the event you want to analyze. LogiScope will allow you to trigger on the exact event you want to look at!

Hardware can be purchased from http://www.oscium.com and includes the following:
-LogiScope Accessory
-2x Harness with 0.100" connectors
-18x SMD Grabbers (16 channels + 2 GND)

Portable and precise but limited

Works well for what I use it for. Debugging small voltage electronics (arduino/pi/etc..) Very portable and useful in a pinch. The Oscium team is easily communicated with and helpful, so I count that as a plus but there are couple cons to add. You can't reanalyze the data in the app later and scroll to the time you want to look at. You also can't export it and open in another program in your computer. There's another guy who made a filter to parse the exported data and open it in salae's software I think but it was only for a certain setup and didn't work for me. So you can use it for real time analysis but not for later on to check the results. ***Careful the voltage is limited to -2 to 7v and there's no over voltage protection. So that could easily be a $200 dollar mistake. I always measure the voltage first to make sure and am mindful of spikes. ***update: 3/24/19 - app still works well and even though I have the adapter from Apple (the old style to lightning) it works well. Bought in 2014 and very careful to measure under the voltage limit prior to connecting. Glad the manufacturer is still proving app support 5 years later. Keep us productive!

Logiscope to the rescue

I was just starting to debug an I2C bus problem on a sensor project, working at home instead of at my lab. It was not clear if it was the master or slave causing the problem. Then FedEx arrived and delivered the OSICUM logicScope. I immediately took it out of the box, connected it up, in in about 3 minutes used its I2C decoding capability to find the problem. Saved me lots of time and worked wonderfully. The interface was easy to use and pretty intuitive. At least, I did not have to read any manuals or watch tutorials on their web site to solve my problem. A very nice, compact, and useful tool.

I found the product easy to use and very handy. Small footprint and utilized another product I already own with taking up a lot of bench space. What am I saying, it didn't take up any space! A nice addition to your electronics tool kit! Bob

Awesome Tool!
Chrisbotcom

The best tool on my bench. ...and vehicle and field and home. I also have the iMSO-104. Everything I ever wanted. Astonishingly compact and unbelievably powerful. Can your logic analyzer decode I2C and trigger on complex rules then give you FFT? Oscium can. It's interface is very intuitive. You can easily save configs and professional screen shots. I can't wait to see what Oscium comes out with next.

Does not work iOS 8!
RocDoc1

This works reasonable well under iOS7, but with iOS8 the labels are messed up and more importantly, triggering does not work, making it useless. Stay away unless they update the app.

Latest Update fixes label problem
mcgski

On iOS 8, the previous version wasn’t showing labels correctly and the app seemed a little clunky. This update fixes the label problem and the app feels a bit snappier. Nice work!

Broken with IOS 10
rtcdude

Completely broken on IOS 10. Displays half size, all of the controls are missing, completely unusable. I love this logic analyzer and use it all the time. We need an update quick. Update: Yes, recent versions have restored full functionality and is much appreciated. 1 star changed back to 4. My only issue now is that it would be great to have some kind of manual or help. Sometimes it's a real hunt-n-peck to figure out to do something. And triggering can be complex enough that it could really use some explanation and examples.
