Logic Puzzles Volume 2 from PunkStar Studios is a new set of 25 super addictive and entertaining puzzles.
This version will show you which puzzles you've completed on puzzle menu.
We've also doubled our efforts to spot typos and anything at all that might detract from the enjoyment of doing the logic puzzles.
For those of you new to logic puzzles... it works like this:
- You are given a description of the scenario.
- You are given 4 "categories". They could be anything, last names, places, activities, all related to the scenario.
- Each category has 5 unique elements in it (5 last names, 5 modes of transportation, 5 murder weapons, etc.)
- You are given anywhere from 3 to 8 clues per puzzle. Using those clues you either cross off things that don't match up, or connect things that do.
- Using the process of elimination (and logic of course) you have to figure out how everything matches up. Some clues may not be obvious though, like "The woman who used the knife did not come from Scarborough" not only tells you that knife and Scarborough are not a match, but also that it was a female that used the knife so you can also cross of the male names.

I love the puzzles in this game, and they offer a good challenge, but the alignment issues with the vertical columns is a major issue that needs to be fixed. Would give 5*s if it was corrected.

I really wanted to like this app but the 5th puzzle is wrong. I worked it out 4 times and none of them were right. A clue says that the accountant is a HE. Nancy is not a HE! :(
The program started to have glitches

I really liked this application when I first got it. It was great for the airport. However, I was just trying to work on the 4th puzzle and it stopped responding. I tried to put a circle in the corresponding box for a correct match and it wouldn't let me tap to switch the symbol in the box. Instead it kept putting unwanted symbols in the boxes around the one I has focused on. Then when I rebooted my i-touch, I went back to try it again. I finally got it to put a circle in the desired box but it wouldn't do autofill. Now it's working fine again. I don't know what the issue was. It was a few days there where it was a little out of wack.

This app is Great!!! Every Puzzle is solvable, and all the clues are there. There are some mis-spelled words (probably some in this comment too), but the mis-spelled words/names could be confusing. I look forward to Volume III.

Love this app. The puzzles can all be solved but are still challenging. The interface is great and makes it very easy to keep track of clues.

I love logic puzzles, so I was glad to find this game. Based on reviews I chose this version over the first game. I like it fine. It serves its purpose. There are mistakes and grammar errors, but so far I haven't found any that totally mess up a game. Some times the clues and the labels don't match up exactly, but not enough that it is confusing. I like the background and font choice. I love that when you click on a section it "zooms" in and you can see the labels for each box. Overall, I am enjoying this app. I may purchase the original, but I will certainly be on the look out for the next one.

Problems with update

I would have given the game 5 stars before the update but I downloaded the update and now if I press the back screen, it gives me a blank screen. also the words on the top of the puzzle are in the grid and the choices for the bottom of the puzzle are outside the grid. Please fix this because I love the game and cannot play until you do. Once fixed, I can change my rating back to 5 stars.
