I remember having the original lock N roll on my iPod touch back in the day and decided to track it back down to play it. Well I found the deluxe version and must say I'm quite disappointed. It's not that anythings changed from the gameplay but rather the aesthetic. This version is cluttered looking. The gameboard has been shrunk down for a border with extra features with ruins the fluidity the first version had, making the pips on the die hard to differentiate because of their small size. The dices colors hardly contrast against the bright green background and the bland muted tones of the die themselves. All in all, if you aren't bothered by these design choices you'll have a ton of fun with the game. For me personally though, my eyes strain too much for me to enjoy.

Highly recommended!! Quite the challenge, and a great mental stimulant. Keeps me on my toes and entertained. Beyond addictive!

I've played this game for years, ever since the original came out on my first iPhone. Much to my delight, a new version popped up yesterday when I went to reminisce, and I love it. It's simple, yet fun. The new options are great! Five stars.
