Don't be discouraged by the other low reviews. It really depends on how you are using it. I love this app and I think it's worth trying if you have a lot of local content on your device like personal videos, photos or movies that you want to cast. I've been using it a lot and have been sharing it with friends and colleagues.

Do developers like this app have a concept of QA. This app is completely useless because I haven't been able to even get the app to load. Crashes immediately

Fundamentally this thing works ok, it'll connect to my cloud device and cast things to the tv. However, there are still core issues that need to be resolved: it will randomly crash mid stream, and if the app times out, reconnecting to the tv stops your stream and you have to restart your video. Still usable but I'd love this app to have the kinks worked out.

Every time I add a subtitle from Opensubtitle it doesn't show up on Chromecast.

After a long time, the app finds my second Dlna server, identifies it with the wrong up address (same as 1st dlna server). It's possible to browse the media content but not even playing back a simple h.264/aac MP4 file works.

This app works very well for me just a bit buggy I'll give y'all that five star but I'm waiting for you guys to add the playlist but other than that it's a great app
