I love this concept more than I can say! Bringing people together with a mutual love of gardening and healthy eating, all with the touch of a mobile device. I can't wait to get the word out in my home region of Niagara, Canada, home to amazing wineries, farms and gardens! Perfect timing, too :)

This app is a great idea to help growers and consumers connect on a local level. Finding produce in my neighborhood is a great idea. I’m finding other like-minded organic growers and others who simply want to share their extra fruits and veggies. This app is simple, easy to use, intuitive and provides a great and valuable service in the green economy. I also love the social aspect of being able to connect with people in my neighborhood. Great job, Local Carrot!

I love this app and recently swapped some produce in my neighborhood. This app really works. I recommend everyone who has small to any size garden in backyard or elsewhere. Go organic and go local!

If you are a gardener then you know how it is...all of a sudden...BAM! You are overwhelmed by the amount of produce coming in. Sure you could can it all or freeze it all if you have time, but if you don't have time then HELLO LOCAL CARROT. LC allows people to quickly find you and take that excess produce off your hands. LC is the perfect App for finding local produce you are not growing, so trading and bartering is very easy! LC is also a great way to build community through gardening, who knows?...you may even find the love of your life. This app is BRILLIANT

Having an orchard and a garden, I always reach a point where I have no more friends to share with (or I've inundatred them all!) and I'm burned out on canning, freezing, drying, etc. Then there is Local Carrot to save the day! And if there's any produce I don't have but need, I can usually find it around the Bay Are with this amazing App.
