I have to say that I liked Slacker Radio better than XLiveX. Slacker was all about the music & being a radio. Up until now it had the best selection of music for all ages. I have noticed since XLiveX took over that some of my favorite songs are being replaced by live versions or updated versions & a few have simply disappeared. I liked the original versions. I absolutely hate live songs because you can’t hear the music or singers for all the background garbage of the crowd. XLiveX is no longer a radio station but a multimedia collection of concerts, tv shows, interviews, news & everything else. Some may like this but I simply want to listen to music.
Would like to thank y'all for the service you provide. I listen to your George Strait Programming, just love it between y'all and XM-radio I do believe you're equal XM on my car on the going and Slacker at home when I'm cooking and doing house work, this work just fine for me Thanks again!
This app recently started draining my battery to the point it was making my phone hot. I deleted the app and the problem was solved.
I hadn’t used this app in a long long time. About a month ago I noticed my 10xsMax battery would be down to 20% about 2 hours after I unplugged from a full charge. Went to T-Mobile to look at new iPhones vs battery replacement... then the rep looked at my battery use and live x live was sucking up over 50% of battery use AND I HAD NEVER EVEN OPENED IT IN A YEAR!!! I deleted it and my phone is like a new phone. Thanks Slacker, almost cost me $1200!! Never again.
My biggest complaint about this app is that it takes a very long time for your stations or favorites to start playing. I find myself defaulting to the Amazon music app which plays almost immediately. If the app was faster, I probably would use it more.
I paid for premium and the app does not work! I can’t replay songs or do anything that the premium plan would let me do. The customer service is bad via email they just say you have a Plus account , but no I sent prove that I have a premium account and they have me back and forth with the same thing. At this point I paid for one month and is about to expire so I would never use this app again, waste of money!
The app doesn’t support airplay. It will play 1 song then just switch back to the internal speakers. Same problem on both ipad and iPhone
his app doesn't always play automatically despite it being set as such in my settings. It constantly asks if I want to enable notifications, which I have said "no" to at least twenty times. But the biggest slap in the face of all is that, despite paying $10 a month, the app thinks it's acceptable to show me advertisements popping up in front of my stations. No, I don't want to see a "YouTube vs. TikTok" anything. Slacker was better than Pandora, but if I see another ad, there's clearly no reason for me to continue paying for the service.
I was researching some other music streaming apps & came across this one so I decided to give it a try, I’ve went ahead & purchased the premium subscription. I’ve had other similar apps & so far this one definitely delivers ?
