It worked well for the first minute until it stopped and forced me to spend 4.99 to purchase more minutes to continue using it. I immediately deleted it.
Got to specifically work with Google photos, which I thought I can use to display all my albums.I’m using it for iPad 2, however it takes a long time to create the slideshow but then hangs up most of the time. Recently it gets disconnected from the server, even though my other apps and Internet is more than 100 Mb per second. I’m disappointed since it is not doing what it was supposed to do. At present it has become non-functional because of that reason.
I rarely review apps but after downloading this one and finding it so well executed and perfect for converting my old iPads to the perfect digital frames for my many many photos, I had to say thank you to the developers. Congrats on a perfectly implemented app!!!
I’ve struggled for years to find the perfect photo frame software for my iPad. Apple’s own slideshow feature crashed if you tried to display too many photos. Other software wouldn’t support the old iPad I was trying to repurpose as a frame. Some programmers thought you’d only want to view photos in a single album (seriously?). But LiveFrame checks (almost) ALL the boxes. It lets you select multiple photo albums on your iPad, or chose on-line sources (don’t know if you can mix and match). The time and weather overlays are elegant. The ability to pause and swipe left/right to view other photos is so cool, and the little film strip of images is brilliant! You have granular control over almost every aspect of the display. Even setting the sleep and wake time is well-designed. I’m gushing, I know! What’s missing? The ability to play videos. I shoot a lot of video to capture the essence of events or places, so that was almost a deal-breaker. But the developer has said it’s coming. So I have faith. ?? This is one of those apps that’s a no-brainer. Thanks Attibo!
I paid for this app, the latest update doesn't work at all with Instagram, it crashes every time. I thought it was my iPad, but I tried the same thing on my iPhone 12 maps pro and same exact thing, the app crashes when giving access to Instagram. This app is useless to me now. Refund or fix it!
Works pretty well on my iPad Air 1. However it does occasionally freeze up for unknown reasons. This iPad is freshly factory reset with no other than default apps installed, as it’s a dedicated photo frame. The freezing is a pain as it requires disassembling the picture frame to get it started again.
On the whole, is ok, but 1. When it dims the screen for sleep mode, on wake up, it does not restore the correct brightness. 2. When selecting an album to display, it takes a long time to load the album list, and often it fails to allow scrolling through the list, so you cannot get to the album you want.
This app is a godsend. It's given new life to my 10 year old iPad!
Looks good. Works well once I figured out how to connect it with the pictures I wanted to display. But.. it seems to be a power hog. Even with my iPad plugged into a power source the battery runs down in a matter of hours.
