Fix this PLEASE

Jayme is a ninja

I like the workouts... and I love there are videos... some are in slow motion and that’s annoying. This is a 2 star review because if your screen goes dark while you’re doing the workout it kicks you out of the app... 1/2 the time it makes me log completely back in... and that takes for friggen ever! I hate it. Or it makes me restore my purchase... I complete an exercise and i have to start over in the app. Annoying.. kills my flow and I spend way too much time on my phone in the gym.

Rip Off

I literally just purchased this two weeks ago for $2.99 and now I can’t even log in with the new update because it’s charging me $8.99 a month! I bought a product and literally you just took my money!

Suddenly started charging for a purchased product??

Bought this app and loved it - despite UX fails of making videos slow or impossible to load and having to relaunch app anytime the screen goes dark or you look at anything else on your phone. I go to use the app again and suddenly there’s a $9/month charge to access anything! I already bought it but now there’s a subscription with no notice? Talk about false advertising.

Exactly what I needed

Updated November 2017: I’m incredibly disappointed and frankly disgusted that Bodybuilding.com is charging $8.99 a month for access to this app that’s been available FOR YEARS. All I want is to get back on track and this was the best plan for me. I don’t want access to other plans, just this one. This move just seems motivated by greed. I understand paying for content but we already paid the price of the app. Original review: I don't write reviews very often but this app has been a great addition to my life. I was struggling with motivation to get to the gym and create a plan for myself. This app solved both problems at once. The fact there is a set plan makes me not want to fall behind, and the workout plans are easy to follow once I'm at the gym. I also like how the plans are varied enough that it's not boring. And then there are the results! I'm on week four and I'm leaner in general. I've lost fat around my belly and thighs, and gained muscle in my legs and arms. I wish I took before pics and measurements but I've been let down by so many plans I didn't expect great results. I just promised myself to stick to it for the full 12 weeks. So far I am very happy with the results! The premise of the app is so simple, and kudos to the design team for keeping the workflow SIMPLE!! One design note: when you watch an exercise video, because there are two "views", the pop-up and the Apple video view, the buttons to close (pop-up's X and video Done) are on opposite sides of the screen. It sounds really nitpicky but it's annoying when I'm at the gym and I'm already looking at this on my armband. Maybe just go straight to the video? The pop up doesn't have any important info. My only feature request is for a vegan nutrition option (which is probably an edge case, but vegetarian at least!). I have to mention that even though I haven't been following the app's nutrition plan because I'm vegan, I have been following a 40-30-30 macro guideline and focusing on a whole foods diet. Don't expect to follow the exercises but not a nutrition plan and get results. Thanks for a great app!!

Changing up

Ive had this app for over a year. Went back on today for my workout and buying product and its suddenly a monthly or yearly subscription. SO DISAPPOINTED!

Loved this... before I had to pay for it

Padjucki

I loved this app. Went through the program twice and it was my go to. It took me a while to find something I liked and felt comfortable doing on my own at the gym. A few technical glitches, but nothing I couldn’t overlook with a free price. Now they want me to pay for it? I don’t think so. Sorry bodybuilding... you just lost a customer by getting greedy. Those orders I place, they will be purchased somewhere else.

Come on!

Was a great app to workout with or just to use when I didn’t want to think about a routine. I told all of my friends about it and I’ve had it for EASILY over a year. Try to use it today and $8.99 a month?!? Are you kidding me!? No thanks. Deleting all of the BodySpace apps. I get making money, but customers who downloaded and used/paid for these apps already should be excluded from this ridiculous price change.

Why is it pay now

chewvok

It was great before they made you pay for it. Too expensive

Suddenly there’s a monthly fee!!!

aaneww

I was using this for a few months and paid the initial fee for the app and then one day I open the app and you have to pay monthly!! No thanks, most other Body Building apps were completely free and now everything is subscription. Not worth it.

Two things would make it awesome...

If I could actually enter my sets & weight that would be awesome - instead I have to manually do that on another app. And returning to the home screen is annoying. Seriously. Other than that I love this app.
