This is a good concept for a game, and the scenes are challenging, but that's where it breaks down. This game is presented as a children's app, but it is anything but. For those with children, please note, the mermaid pictures are probably all your child will enjoy about this game. The hidden objects are well hidden and are probably not easy enough for kids. Parents, you will be doing all the work on this one if your kids want to advance to the next level. Although, the hint button works continuously, so your child could simply push for a hint, find the object, repeat to be able to move on. Next, the in app ads are over the top. They pop up not only between the levels but during the levels s well, and the timer still counts down even during the ad. Your child will end up clicking on ads eventually. Then there's the timer. This app gives about sixty seconds, probably less, to find ten well-hidden objects in each level. That's definitely not enough time for kids, especially little ones to find the objects on their own. Lastly and most importantly, this is rated 4+ but it should be rated higher due to inappropriate mermaids. Several of the scenes include scantily clad mermaids. Parents, do you really want your kids staring at women's chests over and over and over? If I had known how inappropriately the mermaids are dressed, I wouldn't have downloaded this app at all, and I will be deleting it. App maker, this is a good start, but it needs a lot of work. The ads should be limited so they don't interfere with gameplay. The time to search needs to be extended. Sixty seconds isn't enough time. Most importantly the mermaid scenes need to be appropriate for children and these ones aren't. If you fixed some of these things I could up the stars to three, but for now it only deserves one. If there were a way to take the ads out by paying for a full game, probably one with more levels, for $0.99 I would be able to even give this 5 stars as long as the mermaids in the additional levels were appropriate as well.
