Fun but Greedy

Good mechanics, fun art, and a sense of humor help this game to stick out. However, the novelty starts to wear away as it becomes obvious this is just another "pay to win" game. Not only will you need to use premium currency to earn any competitive cards, you also need premium currency just to use those cards. Fun until it becomes obvious that it's just another money pit. More details: This is a CCG style game that relies on a combination mechanic; you play two cards together in order to play an even stronger card. However, earning good cards to combine is incredibly difficult without spending diamonds (this games premium currency). Further, you can't combine cards unless you've researched the combination. Any combo worth playing will take a full 24 hours to research unless you spend diamonds. You will only be able to research two combos at a time until you've played for at least a week or you spend diamonds. The game also doesn't give you diamonds through play at any meaningful rate; you might earn one every three times you level and it costs 20 for a decent card pack. There is a "earn diamonds by signing up for a credit card" gimmick but it isn't even very reliable. You can have fun with this game for a few days but don't be surprised when you slam into the paywall.

I have no idea why the silver goblin has all level 5 diamond cards. That makes no sense. I can not beat him when he two-shots me. The bronze goblin is a challenge but has one or two gold cards, not an entire deck of impossible-to-beat cards.

I love this game! I've played it for years on multiple devices. I do wish gems were easier to get though. You can complete tasks to get them but it takes forever. Why not let players watch videos for gems? Anyways, it's lots of fun and has PVP!

Another fun game. Like most Kongregate games, there is a learning curve on how to win. Great take on CCG, with simple and cute gameplay. Well done!

I really love this game but gems are really hard to get. How are you supposed to get any good packs if you have 6 gems for a year!? Also it should easier to get silver and gold cards in random card packs. But beside those flaws the game is amazing an I have been playing for three years

Everything costs to much, and I don't have money for this. I can't get any farther, because every one else just has diamond diamond diamond! If you lowered the prices by half, it would balance almost EVERYTHING!

I love this game I just think it’s so hard to obtain gems you should make it easier to get them or maybe make a coin to gem converter

The game is great, not the most original, but original enough. Challenging, but not overbearing. And the combinations, are always entertaining.
