List Master

I’ve been a list guy forever, so when the PalmPilot PDA got rendered obsolete by the iPhone, i was distraught. I found ListMaster probably 10 yrs ago (maybe more) after trying out several others. It is pretty much the same style as the list app in my old PalmPilot... simple, logical and straighforward. Only issue is it seems to be getting slower with every upgrade. I think the functionality is perfect as is...faster would be the only improvement for me. Thx for a great app!

I’ve had this app for years and it’s still my go-to for list making. I’ve tried numerous other list apps over the years, but I always come back to List Master. I like to collect stuff- books, well, mainly books, but some other stuff too, and I love being able to keep track of everything in one place. And the variety of ways you can customize your lists exceeds anything I’ve seen. For example, my book list is first organized by author, then by series, then by title, year written, my rating, owned, first edition, autographed, cost, and so on. This, by far, is one of my favorite apps!

If you want a simple list manager, keep looking. The latest version adds a bunch of stuff you don’t need and clucks up the program. Every time they change this it's worse. Hard to follow. Unusable options. Overly complicated.

Dropbox access bug?

I haven’t used the developer’s website or sync service (subscription) for a long time, so I have no idea if those are stil functioning. If accessing and synchronizing your lists online without using Dropbox or some other mechanism is important to you, then you should check to see if those tasks are still possible with this app. When I tried to connect this app with my Dropbox account, it consistently caused this app to crash. Once I pressed the “Allow” button in the Dropbox UI, my phone returned to List Master which then immediately crashed. It occurs 100% of the time in this exact same way. I sent a diagnostics report to the developer, so hopefully there will be a bug fix. I’m running iOS 12.4.1 on an iPhone 8, so if that’s your configuration, you might also encounter this crasher.

Best list app ever! I’ve been using this for about 5+ years & I love this app! It is a lifesaver for keeping passwords, grocery lists, inventory in my pantry etc. tHighly re immense. Thanks!

Update- Can’t send lists

I wanted to follow up with a review from a previous review I had left regarding the List Master app. I was experiencing an issue I believe to be with the app when in turn I believe the issue was with my apple device. I use this app in my day to day operations for a home builder to creat walk/service lists and it is the best app I have found to organize the tasks as well as clearly be able to label and visualize the work needed. Also I was contacted within 24hrs by the LM team to help me trouble shoot my issue even though the issue was not on their end.

I have been a listmaster fan for years. None better. I have wasted a lot of time to check that statement and can tell you there is none.

This is a great app for people who do inspections on properties. I work for a national builder and use this app daily for all my home inspections before closing and during homeowner inspections. A great feature that should be added is when line items are selected the number to the line item is stamped on the corner of the pictures to the corresponding line item so this will be easier to located the photo to the corresponding a line item.

I have used ListMaster for many years and loved all the different kinds of lists I could make. I advanced to the pro version a few years ago. As usual, it was great for a while and then developers feel the need to make changes. DEVELOPER - please let me know if I am doing something wrong, but for a while now the only information I can type in the “Application” column is from a numeric keypad. What happened to the alpha keypad? I need it back!!!

No update in a year?

i was seeing if there was an update because it won’t let me go to my main list of lists. Then i noticed no update in a year? does that mean this app is going away soon?
