Paid no magazine
james catalfano

Bought thru iTunes I wasn’t getting my issues but they were taking the money from my account every month. Customer support was slim to none when asking for help with the issue. When finally getting in contact with someone through email due to no number being available I was only refunded 1 month with issues I had paid for still asking me for payment before I could download. I reached out numerous times to only be ignored. Thanks Jellisa iTunes customer support. Would not purchase anything through iTunes in the future.

Crashing constantly
Doubleohcletis

I hope to see an update soon. The app has crashed repeatedly while I have been trying to read the issue.

Crashes a lot
kevinluong

Will change to 5 star as soon as it stops crashing.

Crash and burn
Yondering

I would love to subscribe to this, if only I could read more than two pages without crashing. I might even be satisfied if I could consistently read one page, without crashing as soon as I attempt to flip to it via the index at the bottom of the screen.

Great
SyFy geek

I have never had the app crash. I also love the content.

Ok but need high res pictures
spookware

I love this magazine and wanted to subscribe via my iPad. But the low resolution on screenshots is a deal breaker for me. The text and layout is great but if I zoom in to take a look at a screenshot then it is a blurry mess that is unreadable. Considering this magazine is full of screenshots of applications and terminal commands this is kind of important. If you include full resolution screenshots then you will have an instant yearly subscription purchase from me. I seriously don't mind if the files are larger size just increase the screenshot quality. pretty please with a cheery on top.

Terrible attempt at a mobile app
The Bamajr

I've had a subscription to your printed Linux Format magazine and I've bought it off the shelf at book stores. This digital copy is far less expensive than buying it off a bookseller's shelf (usually around $15 USD) and as a print subscription ($125 USD for 13 issues), which I appreciate. However, the actual iPhone/iPad app leaves a lot to be desired. The UI is terrible. There is no integration with Safari, to easily navigate to a web link. The advertisement space is annoying in the mobile environment and takes up way too much real estate. The image resolution is questionable, at best. Finally, had I known there would not be any way to get the disks, included with the printed edition and that I would not have access to the web site, as I do with a print subscription, I never would have subscribed to it via the App Store. I can tell you this much, I will not renew, until these options are made available. Nice to see the disclaimers have now been added to the app, in the app store, but not before I had already signed up for 6 months.

Excellent ePub app
niedobry

Linux Journal has done a fantastic job with their ePub implementation and I love and use just about all the available formats including the iOS app. It rocks on the iPad and is very convenient on the iPhone for reading anywhere I am.

NOT FREE!!!!
Dpiddy17ca

This is NOT FREE!!!! You will get NOTHING FREE by downloading this.

Love the articles
toxshox

I love the bits of humor sprinkled in the articles. I only wish I could save issues as PDF's for my personal archive. I could have access to them if I had a print version of LFX but I don't want a print version. Minus 1 star for no way to archive issues in a future proof format.
