Linux Command Reference

Linux, the most popular (and most misunderstood) operating system can be very hard and frustrating to users who are not familiar with the text side (called the Terminal) because of all of its commands. Get one command wrong, and the operating system may not do what you expect.

With the Linux Command Reference (LCR), users have access to the most widely used Linux commands to date. As the screen shots show, one just has to go into a topic that he or she wants to know more about, and the iPhone or iPod Touch will show them the command that a user needs to do for a certain task.

Now updated to work with iOS 5 and up.

Seriously; apple is soooo selective in their apps, and yet they release an app that doesnt work. Cool idea, but useless without being able to scroll down...

Worthless

Oh so worthless. Needs expanded descriptions to be truly useful. Think man pages on your iphone.

Esta bien para novatos en linux

Good start keep going.
Linux Mac then Windows

I like the thought, but how about connecting it to a database and giving the end user the ability to enter their own. Maybe even insert man pages. Keep it up.

Doesn't even work

I hate complaining about free apps but this one won't even open. Installed it twice and still no go. No good.

Impecable

I've used this app so many times when in a pinch it isn't even funny. I am on a quest of learning unix and this reference to base is so perfect, in fact today just ten minutes ago I was having some trouble with a disappearing task panel in debian. Well lo and behold there is an update that just happens to have exactly what I was missing. Great app and much appreciated.
