Well designed app, lots of fun to use with strangers - the flirting section alone, when you turn the screen round so the foreign language text goes big, is hilarious fun! I've used this for several languages - the new app with all included is great! Thanks!
Great language app

This is such a great value. Fun to learn a few phrases and help break the ice in a social setting. I can't recommend this app enough to a new learner or a traveler.

The Lingopal app is really first-rate and filled with useful phrases and a helpful search engine to sort through them. The only thing better would be a translator along with it!

This is a great app to learn at least the essentials (and more) of another language and very useful for travelers. I studied words and phrases prior to going to Iceland. While there I felt comfortable using what I learned. Highly recommend this app.
Doesn’t rotate; paid extra

This app doesn’t rotate on the iPad, so I think it’s misleading to say it’s designed for both. Many apps are designed for both and rotate on both. I bought the old version, for 0.99 and after buying it it immediately told me that this new one is available, so I had to pay another 0.99 to get the language for this. The old ones shouldn’t be in the store!
Junk. Audio doesn't work for purchased languages.

Bought and downloaded two languages onto latest iPhone. Audio only works for the two default categories. Uninstalled, reinstalled, same problem. Emailed tech support but no answer. Not worth it unless you only wanted essential and flirt categories. Try your luck w another app instead.
The sound doesn't work

The sound stopped working shortly after I started using this app. Not just one this one but all the lingopal apps I have. Otherwise this was a pretty great app. Probably going to delete because this isn't very useful without sound.
