Great app to learn a language with lyrics - and fun too. Easy to get started and easy to use!
Decent, limited free version

The videos play without any sound in the app, unless you flip up your sound switch on iPhone. Kinda strange but once that's sorted, everything works well. Unfortunately the free version is limited to 3 songs every 30minutes.

Trouble Loggin in with New Update

This is app has been very helpful for me until the new update. Every time I exit the app, I have to log back in. Can there be a “remember me” option even with Facebook?

*edit* I gave this app a glowing recommendation when I first started playing with it but I had to take away 2 stars because it keeps crashing. *edit again* It still crashes on me a lot BUT I still really enjoy playing with it and the customer service team is amazing. They always respond quickly so I appreciate that. A friend of mine doesn't have the crashing issue so it might just be my phone. It'll be 5* again once it's resolved. I’ve been trying to teach myself Spanish for a while and have been cultivating a playlist of Latin Pop music videos with English and Spanish lyrics on YouTube for several months to watch and learn from. This app makes a game of that activity so I can see how much I’ve actually picked up and tune my ear without the crutch of having the lyrics already there (unless I want to play in karaoke mode with every lyric). This app is brilliant and has a lovely, user friendly interface. Can’t say enough great things about it, wish I’d had it all year! Shout out to an article on FluentU where I found the suggestion and link to download this.
Great app, but could use some improvement

I really like this app, and I think it’s helped me a lot with understanding German. There’s two things that could make it even better though. 1. I’d really like if the app allowed you to play songs that are pending review, like you can from the website. The app feels very limited with only the reviewed songs available; a lot of my favorite songs haven’t been reviewed yet. 2. It’s also be cool if the app included the typing mode. I think the typing mode is more engaging and challenging for when you’re able to keep up better. Again, this app is awesome, but I really think these two changes would be a big improvement and could help a lot of people in their language learning. Thank you, LyricsTraining!
