LineGuide

LineGuide is an application that helps power companies inspect their transmission lines. Inspectors may inspect lines, poles, and substations and take pictures to support their findings. Transmission Line Coordinators (TLCs), Contractors, and Linemen may view all necessary repairs from the Repair View. Workflow is supported with engineering documents attached to lines and Driving Directions.

I’ve used this app more than ever recently for line inspections, line outages, and finding access roads to structures. It really has been a great tool to have. With inspections and outages this app is great and it allows me the ability to find the line in question and find my easiest way there. The satellite view option is great for finding those access roads that aren’t always shown on the regular view. Any questions I’ve had using the app have always been quickly answered so the support has been great.
