No music strobe

I downloaded this for the music strobe. It doesn’t work. I turn it on and the screen goes black. It doesn’t respond at all to music from another source/device and I read that it also doesn’t work from the same source/device.

The only reason this gets a 4/5 is because the beat finder doesn’t seem to work the right way. Everything else works perfectly on my iPhone 8 though. Strobe is perfect. Morse Code is perfect. Just please fix the music part and this would be a perfect flashlight app!
