This is a great free app. I live in Alaska where we experience long dark winters. The sun doesn't come up until 10am in the mornings, so getting up can be difficult at times. This app makes my mornings happier. It is nice to wake up to light when the sun is not yet awake itself.

Once you set it, you can no longer use your phone. It'll turn off in the middle of the night. It even says to set a backup alarm but a person shouldn't have to if this was a reliable product. So much promise but was half assed.

Too bright during the night due to the white google ad banner at the bottom of the screen. Would work nicely if that bright banner wasn't showing!

The alarm works great when it goes off. It hasn't worked in over a week because they added pop up adds, which prevent the alarms from going off.

The mechanism is convoluted anyway. Why do I have to press activate and then go to a different screen instead of just setting the stupid thing and going to sleep? Why is there an awful greenish light on all night disturbing my circadian rhythms? And on top of that, the thing didn't even go off in the morning. I tested it a few times at night to make sure I was using it right and it worked when I set it to go off in five minutes, but the light didn't change at all in the morning. Would not recommend.

You would think that he went for people who are sensitive to light would take that into account, but you have to keep the app open all night, and it shines a Girish to you. Even after I turned the clock light all the way down there are ads change all night and kept waking me up. The first time I used it my battery was dead by the morning so it didn’t work anyway. The second time I plugged in overnight but my phone still only has 60% charge

I have an alarm clock that simulates sunrise. I love it and thought this would be good when traveling. This clock puts out too much light all night, especially the ads, which are very bright! I might pay to get rid of the ads if the rest of the “clock” were darker all night until the start of “sunrise”

Great app for an easy wake-up call. The continuous ads can be a bit distracting...until you're asleep. Or, you can just cover them up (that’s what I do).

Good concept and easy enough to use, but when going to sleep, the clock has a bright white ad on the screen. So it’s not dark while sleeping. I can sleep with a light on especially not a bright white light next to my bed. And if I block the white light, then I’m blocking the gradually brightening alarm light in the am. I get needing ads for revenue, but put them in places that don’t defeat the entire point of your app. How about when you first shut off the alarm, or in the settings screen, or even the first few seconds of setting the alarm and then fade out?
