Great idea bad execution

Email send fails 90% of the time. I wrote support to open a trouble ticket and received no response. That’s pretty bad for a paid product.

Ghetto

Works intermittently. I'd never count on this to do anything even remotely important. Beyond the obvious, even the interface is bad. You login in two or three different ways if you use Gmail and the IFTTT site. Then you have to decide between IFTTT's interface and theirs at time which is so ghetto. They give you only one "trigger" in the trial. I don't blame them. If users had two triggers it would fail twice as much.

Why the app need a permission to read and manage my email account

Great Addition to IFTTT

Adding location based triggers is awesome, and really helpful for shopping lists, to-do lists, reminders about questions to ask at your/your child's school, or at the doctor. Requiring the user to have a Google Account doesn't bother me at all - it probably uses Google's location service and mapping service. But really, who cares? Create an account once, and use it for every app that requires Google as a login. Or just use it to log into this app only. Certainly wouldn't warrant not using the tool, or even giving it one star. It really is a great way to set reminders by your location. And, unlike the iOS reminders app - I can set it to show me my Evernote Walmart List when I get to Walmart, and not have to set individual reminders for each and every item I want to be reminded of when I arrive. Probably 20 other ways to do the same thing, but this works like a charm, and I already use the tools it integrates with (IFTTT, Evernote, etc.).

Love this app!

Now I never come home to a dark house! Thanks to Hue and this app.

Brilliant app

For me, this app has worked perfectly and adds a dimension to IFTTT recipes that makes them incredibly more useful. Being able to add location AND time triggers together, into one recipe, is the answer to so many IFTTT frustrations I had been experiencing. This is easily a 5 star app. I only wish setting up a geofence was more intuitive.

Doesn't work as good as the general IFTTT app does for the same thing!

The interface is also cobbled together poorly. I bought in app upgrades but it's so buggy with freezing up in the IAP menus that I can't even restore my purchases or buy anything else again if I wanted to. Desperately needs work. Would be fantastic if it worked and had a half decent interface.

5 stars for what you can do, -1 star for the interface

If you're familiar with IFTTT and are pretty good with figuring out interfaces, this app will make you happy. Turn on your devices when you're nearly home, send an email to mom when you arrive home safely, or tweet every time you're at your favorite bar. The possibilities are endless! However the app is not very focused... The home screen is blank save for a confusing circle of... other apps? I launched this app to use it, not to find others. The sidebar menu is similarly cluttered, with multiple social media calls to action blocking the functionality. The actual functionality is mostly usable, with some interface quirks that don't make much sense. Why not use standard iOS interface elements? Why not riff off of Apple's geo-fencing interface in the reminders app? Still for what this app allows me to do I am super happy with it! Thank you to the developers, I have been waiting for IFTTT to support location based reminders for the longest time. Now I don't need to wait!

Exactly what I needed and does what it says on the tin. Days of week and restricting time is essential
