“This is the best game on the Apple Watch” - Time.com

Lifeline is a playable, branching story of survival against all odds. Using your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch, you will help Taylor make life or death decisions, and face the consequences together.

Acclaimed writer Dave Justus (Fables: The Wolf Among Us) weaves a gripping interactive story through the aftermath of a crash landing on an alien moon. Taylor is stranded, the rest of the crew are dead or missing, and Taylor’s communicator can only reach you.

A totally unique experience enabled by modern devices, this story plays out in real time. As Taylor works to stay alive, notifications deliver new messages throughout your day. Keep up as they come in, or catch up later when you’re free. You can even respond to Taylor directly from your Apple Watch or your iPhone lock screen, without launching into the app.

Or, dive in and jump back to earlier points in the story, and see what happens when you make a different choice. Simple actions can have a profound effect. Complete any single path to restart the story and unlock this mode.

Lifeline is a deep, immersive story of survival and perseverance, with many possible outcomes. Taylor is relying on YOU.

NEW in version 1.8: Stick around after the game for a special story epilogue from Dave Justus. For players who have already finished the game, the Sneak Peek becomes available under the game options. Enjoy!

Internet connection not required. No in-app purchases and no ads.

Praise for Lifeline:

“I’ve played many games that I find engrossing, but Lifeline may be one of the first that changed the way I thought about my daily routine, which leapt off the screen and became a part of my lived experience.” - Eli Cymet, Gamezebo

“I felt an immediate attachment to a fictional character pinging me from a strange galaxy to my wearable.” - Luke Hopewell, Gizmodo Australia

“[P]laying it on the Apple Watch makes you truly feel like you’re exchanging messages with an astronaut via a futuristic transmitter.” - Michael Andronico, Tom’s Guide

“For a few brief hours I cared – really cared – about the fate of a completely fictional character. I don’t think any other game I’ve played has made me feel that way before.” - Matt Thrower, PocketGamer

Entertaining & engaging

Cool back & forth narrative between you and your protagonist. Makes you wait for them in real-time, but I felt this intensified the process. Reminds me of those choose your own adventure books, but as I said, more immersive. Would recommend those who enjoy a good sci-fi thriller. I see they offered a bunch of add-on. Probably wouldn’t pay money, but it’s entertaining.

My Lifeline
konyvka

Im a new student at university & ive been going thru a rough patch. Ive been very suicidal and depressed for so long. I always feel i have no one to go to for anything, and i thought all the bullying & hatred would stop in college, since everyone is supposed to grow up i guess. Nope, thats not the case, im not allowed to be me or like the things i like. ive cried so much where i just want to end my own life, because i have no one to care for mine and vice versa. this game came up in an ad i forget where but it seemed co so i gave it a shot because other than classes & sleeping i had no one to be with or anything else to do. Taylor made me realize that there is someone out there who hopefully connects with me, whether it be on a desolate moon in space or on earth, i hope i find someone to be my friend, or even talk to me at the very least. The fact that this fictional character took my mind off all my hardships and suicidal thoughts really means something to me. I just dont want it to end, i want to help Taylor do everything. Everyone pushes me away in life, even my own family. I feel like my phone is pointless as i talk to nobody and nobody talks to me, but when i see that notification that Taylor is no longer busy, my mood shoots up and i am so happy. thank you for making this game, because it really is my Lifeline.

If you like waiting a long time for things to happen...
Terface

...then this game is for you! Apparently when the character Taylor is walking to the spaceship, he says it will take an hour, and so as the player you have to wait an hour for the next thing to happen? Or is this a bug? I got bored waiting, so turned off the game. Have a life, and other things to do besides waiting for game notifications.

I was literally stunned with the story. I can’t wait to get another, just have to figure out which one. Nearing the end, I was in such suspense!!

I really like this game and I used to play it a lot on my watch on the go. And now it says that it won’t work anymore because the app needs to be “updated” for watchOS. please fix this.

How to play on Apple Watch
Bjork_22

I love playing the game on my phone, but the reason why I downloaded it, is to play on my Apple Watch. I tried watching videos on YouTube but nothing helped me. It’s not showing up in my apps that I can have on my watch in the Apple Watch app. I don’t know what to do. Can someone please help me?

My lifeline!
JACKWILSON#AWESOME

Well, I really have to say, I’d rate it 6 or seven stars if I could! This is the most engrossing game I’ve ever played! If I ligit almost started crying at one point. This awe striking story is worth the money, time and so much more. Though I think it would really be nice if there was a “Fast mode” to make ‘Taylor’s busy’ go by faster. But I understand it, and how it builds tension and your care about the characters, I’d spend a thousand dollars to get this game. Honestly, anyone who says it’s “boring” clearly isn’t patient enough to truly enjoy the game.
