There are so many plate choices. It makes this app stand out against the rest and it adds to the fun.
Too hard to use

WAY to many plate choices to search through - not the point of the game for me. Would like to be able to view only the states I still need, but because there are hundreds of choices for some states, you can’t easily do that. Would also like a map view to see ALL of the states I’ve found, not just the ones for one state.

Need an update to available plates. Several new plates out there that don’t show on this app. Otherwise good app to track what you find. Very enjoyable way to pass the time on road trips.

What an excellent idea! Now we can pass the time as our family takes those long trips. The game is intuitive, enjoyable, and the kids love it. Worthwhile download.

Great app, makes the trip that much more enjoyable. I really like all the different special tags. The only thing I would change is the ability to take and add pictures of the plates that are not shown.
Good but several major flaws

This app has the widest selection of US plates, by far, but none from Canada (which are frequently seen on US highways) and none of the US territories (admitedly rarely seen) or US gov plate (often seen on trips, esp. to national parks). Also, many plates are not in the database, for example, just today I saw South Carolina with the palm tree, an Alaska plate, and Minnesota 'transporter' plate (on an RV) but none of these are included. Maybe these are the 2013 plates, but if so we need an update before the summer travel season. So despite the wide selection of plates for each state it is frustratingly incomplete. This could be solved in several ways, one of which is to add plates (with or without a photo) but that is not an option. The third problem is the severe limitation on how the lists are made. Lists are defined by date, meaning you cannot have two concurrent lists. For example, for two people playing against each other, or lists for two towns in different states that I go to regularly (home and work) there is no way to have separate lists unless you select each "trip" to have a different date. When you add a plate to a list it is automatically added to the total life list as well as any other list that includes that date. For me that greatly limits how I can use the app. I hope they fix these issues because the selection of US plates is truly amazing.

One suggestion is for there to be some sort of running total or stats menu that shows how many states you have, how many plates from each state, how many missing, percentages, etc.

Always been a fan of the license plate game and this app has made it even better. Rather then just finding each state, I now look for the different plates for each state. I would like to see a way to add plates that aren't show or even a search function so if you see a particular wording on a plate you can search that rather then looking at the picture. Also, can we get Canadian plates added?
