Nice idea; might even work if they enforced their rules... I started a chat to discuss/debate the philosophy of gender. I made it very clear that people needed to be respectful. Most of the comments in the chat were sexist, genderist, religist, or otherwise extremely inappropriate. After observing multiple people state that women are property and exist for men’s (sexual) enjoyment, that non-binary isn’t a thing, and that the Jews deserved to die (including Nazi symbols), I kicked most of them out (the others left), deleted the chat, deleted my account, and deleted the app. This completely ruined my day. Very disappointed. I sincerely hope this is not a common experience.
