Bad translation

Bfxdd

Way too expensive for a poorly written daily reader. You can tell it was translated from a different language, very bad. Go to your local parish and get a free daily reader for lent instead

Fabulous

DrivingtoMI

Great meditations and easy to use format.

Good deep solid theology

Pjoe555

I am really enjoying this incredible reflection prayer. It and lightens my heart that we have good Catholic theologians that can still speak to the intellect the soul of a solid Christian.

Useful

Overall this is a useful and convenient app for Lent. However, I find the readings rather dense and lack accurate proofreading occasionally. Overall, the content of the app seems to be stuck in pre-Vatican II. Though thought-provoking, I wish there were some practical summary after each day's readings. Will probably use it until I find something better.

Lent

I have really enjoyed this app during this Lenten season.

Precisely what it says

Handily split up into sections and can remember where you were last. Update: now lets you set reminders and more. A good update, and Aquinas still good!

I Love the Thought Provoking Meditations

02/14/2018 Update- For those who are looking for a nice app for your Lenten season meditation this app does work in iOS 11. As with all the apps done by this developer the Lenten Meditation app provides a great launching pad to contemplate the deepest purpose of the meaning of our Catholic faith and the importance placed on the Lenten season. Not just in simple "we know why we celebrate it" way. But the seeds planted for the meditation really drill down and cause you to contemplate the meaning. I've caught myself so deep in thought that and prayer an hour has passed. Once again, thanks for a great job. God Bless.

A wonderful guide for Lent

As usual Aquinas is amazing in his writings. The Lenten reflections are no different. I discovered these this Lent and it has greatly improved my prayer time. Also, the translation is perfectly fine.

Traditional

This app is extremely traditional old school Roman Catholic. This is why I find it so interesting and moving. I left the church decades ago, but it’s bringing me back. Not for the light reader, but definitely for the serious minded!

Excellent

I have been using St Thomas Aquinas’s Meditations for Lent for several years. Having it in an app form with a contemplative prayer to start your meditation is a wonderful upgrade to this traditional Catholic practice. I will continue to use this as long as the app and I are viable!
