Update the app layout!!
Awesome,,,,""",,,,,

Please update the app layout. It doesn’t fit the iPhone screen properly and could be so much better with a new fresh look. Like the Nest or any other new system. Thanks!

Great HVAC; marginal app & wi-fi

We have had our Lennox high efficiency heat pump (25 SEER) and 3-zone air handler system about 4 years. Also iComfort system. Works very well; much lower cooling/heating costs. The app is only fair. Despite consistent strong wi-fi signal in home, app does a poor job updating controller. Slow updates; often need to manually update settings at touch panel.

Broken with iOS 12

Even the basic functionality is gone. I miss the nest interface that we had at our old home. This should and could be a great app, Lennox please step up and if you cannot make it great at least fix it.

Have had and used for 2 years now. Including with iOS 10. No problems what so ever. I enjoy this app and the thermostat. Can’t understand why the bad reviews I have read. My review is based on 2 years of connection. Third year review!!!! Still workin great, no problems never had to call installer. I use this app just about daily, Mostly when I’m away and find I have to stay away longer I set new temps. Reminds me to change filters and get yearly cleaning on furnace.

Have spent a lot of money on this system and the least they could do is give me a thermostat that works with my wi-fi

Horrible App!! Lacks basic features
Matthews83

I manage multiple properties. We installed our first Lennox vs Trane. We went with the 25 Seer XC25 system. On the Lennox iComfort Wi-Fi stat you cannot program away settings. There is not a hold feature. You cannot program daily settings. It is useless! It basically lets you see the temp, though to program you have to go to the thermostat. Even the installer said it was poor. He said at trade shows he advises the rep, though for the last 2 years it has fallen on deaf ears. If you want the luxury of a feature rich system you can control remotely do not buy a Lennox. Lennox please fix this it is so poor that it useless.

Poor development and support

Let’s be honest, with today’s mobile apps we all know what a quality app should do, this fails in most respects. As of writing this the last update was a year ago, which tells you really all you need to know about Lennox’s commitment to its products and ability to grasp the mainstream mobile device economy. My garage door manufacturer has several updates a month for their app. I called Lennox and suggested to them that if they’re in the HVAC business, and the average HVAC system lasts 15 years, so they have plans to support this app for 15 years, I was laughed at. Proper app development is called “agile development” which implies slow incremental changes in app improvements are made and released in small incremental updates. Thus is why for all the other apps you have on your mobile device are updated so regularly. Not Lennox. Case in point (well let’s make it two) I have a spring/fall program on my thermostat set at 67 low and 72 high. When I made a change to this program, a month later it still isn’t reflected on the app. The other case in point? I’m typing now on a Apple iPhone 10, is the app optimized for this device? Nope, unlike the dozens of different apps I have Lennox hadn’t updated their app even after a year of the phones release. Don’t think that since they’re a HVAC company their apps should somehow be less usable, that’s a misunderstanding. Consider my garage door opener app, or m home automation app....same types of solutions. Lennox lacks commitment and vision. Be aware that their app development is stuck in twenty year old methodology. I expect at some point if I want to control my thermostat that they will require me to purchase a new one, to work with whatever app they develop after they no longer support this one. I’ll buy that thermostat, but my next HVAC system won’t be Lennox.

App availability

When is Apple Watch compatible going to be available.

App needs a overhaul
Anilmoham

App looks like it was designed 10 years ago needs a refresh badly considering how much their high end HVAC systems cost

Do not buy the system especially the Wifi Thermostat
vipercompany

Scam systems, app was designed by apes. Instead of upgrading the current app they come out with new controllers and apps so you have to pay $600+ to upgrade. Also I want to know who in their right mind would think a scroll wheel was a good idea to make a temperature selection?
