GIF? Cannot Figure It Out

I put text on a GIF file and sent it to the camera role. The program says, "It won't play in iPhone's photos app, but it's there." So I opened it in a app that I know DOES play GIF files and... Nothing! It was text on a picture without animation of the original GIF file. I cannot figure it out so I don't want to buy the full app since this version didn't work as advertised.

When I save my animation to camera roll and I go to an app that DOES play gifs, it works just fine, except..well, it's a bad quality picture. It's kind of slow, and it's really blurry. Other than that, I love this app. Great alternative to the actual app, where you have to purchase it.

L♥️ Ve this app.! Frankly It's slightly difficult in the beginning for the iPhone , not due to technical difficulties just safety precautions that are not troublesome from a parents point of view. I'd recommend this app for all devices . Thank you for the opportunity to share . ™Sweet Pea photography .

I've been using the app on messenger for a while now and loved it, even though the quality on some effects would degrade once posted on the message. I stopped using for a bit, and now I used it and noticed that the quality was worse. Is that because this is the free version? Would like to know.

Don't waste your time! Blurry to start which I can actually handle but if you just text and don't send a picture people will only receive a colored square how exciting and a waste of time!!

i loveeeee this app but i cant give you all your five stars because i want to be able to save the video to my gallery without paying and if i got to pay for it then i dont want it so sorry but i love the edits
