Perfect for drone professionals

This app is extremely useful for delivering what it advertises: a quick, easy photography authorization tailored for UAS pros. Hopefully an update will soon incorporate the ability to save details- it's frustrating to input so much of the same information for each use.

EXTREMELY BUGGY!!

The premise of this app is great. It creates a wonderful PDF of the release agreement with all kinds of neat features, like pictures of the location and pilot, Lat and Long coordinates of the location, and you can digitally add your signature. It will even email the completed release form to you and the client. But, inputing this information is extremely aggravating and time consuming. There are so many bugs between the time you open the app to the final product, I'd rather skip the release and just risk it! First, scrolling through the main menu is broken. It will not scroll all the way down, hiding the last option, unless you rotate your phone to landscape and back. Even then, it only works for one scroll down, then it breaks again. Second, having to input the same information every single time you create a new release is extremely time consuming. You should be able to save pilot and client information for future jobs. Third, there is no way to see and review the document before creating it. And, once you create it, it clears all of the fields and you have to start over from the beginning. There are so many other little bugs here and there that diminish the quality and usability of this app. I really wish it worked. This would be a GREAT asset to have in the field. Until they can update and fix these issues, it simply isn't worth $9.99. Knowing all this, I wouldn't have downloaded it if it were free.

Necessity for Drone Pilots who fly commercially.

Party-trolley.com

Love this app! As a commercial operator I'm supposed to have private property releases for each location i fly. This makes it easy and painless. No forms. Seriously, having this app makes my life easy. One time i had a cop run up to me saying i didn't have permission to fly, showed him the contract and he left. Thanks LF!

Needs work

It is great in the final output but remembering pilot and insurance information is a must. Also to have desktop functionality so a person could send the same release prior to arriving at a location would help immensely.

This App is Terrible and Waste of $$

Europe Traveler

It is not at ready for prime time. Very dissatisfied and would like full refund or repair.

PERFECT for Drone pilots who record and share their flights!

Not a wb

Getting release contracts w/o removing my iPad from the DJI controller is amazing! While I was flying a job, someone called the police. The officer approached me and asked if I had permission to fly on private property. Without landing, I pulled up the signed property release and offered to email, iMessage, or AirDrop it to the officer's phone! He was so impressed, he asked me for the name of the app. Thank you Legal Flyer!! Makes amazing contracts for flying drones on property you don't own. Gets signatures right in the app and makes a PDF that can be shared instantly! It works with AirPrint and can share the contracts to Dropbox, Google Drive, or any Adobe Reader and any other app which supports PDF. Love it!!

Great App

This is a must have app for flying legally on private property. I would have given it 5 stars if it would remember my pilot and insurance information. Having to retype it every time is annoying.

Good overall, NEEDS a few changes

Being able to save pilot data would help tremendously. When clicking back to update location, it clears all previous location data. On the witness sign page, it states that they have legal responsibility for the property, which they do not. They are simply a witness, I often use this for VO. In the pdf, the upper left portion has overlapping text.
