Nicely done Pattern Recognition/Problem Solving game that lends itself for extended play by either using manipulatives or printing out a screen shot and cutting and pasting the work page. The familiar ABABAB and AABBAABB (and 6 other) patterns are there for beginning learners and it progresses to more complex patterns for kids that have achieved some mastery. An IAP will unlock more content, otherwise buttons are secured. I love pattern making apps, as they teach kids about synchronicity and daily rhythms.....Breakfast, Lunch, then Dinner. They are calming and reduce anxiety by giving us routine and predictability. Alligator apps have really been producing great workbook type apps lately for preschoolers to help transition to Pre-K or Kindergarten classroom work, and are committed to responding to feedback. This is a real plus for educators. I would highly recommend this app for parents, teachers and therapists.

This app is nice for practicing patterns, but I noticed there were less options in settings than the other alligator apps and I miss them!

My kindergarten students love practicing patterns with this app! I am glad I purchased it because the variety of kinds of patterns they can make prevents them from becoming bored. However, there are times when it will not allow them to select and move the object that we know comes next in the pattern. Then, I have to help them. It doesn't happen often enough to detract from their enjoyment.

I have the full version. My 3 yr old developmentally delayed son is learning a ton. No problems at all here. Nice job!

I like that it is leveled and doesn't start out super high. I sat and played with it for several minutes. I encouraged several parents to download for their children. They said their kids enjoyed working on the app.

Good app for learning patterns. In the hard level I did find a couple instances where the pattern did not begin again before the child is asked to complete it, for example AAAB?? The full pattern is AAABBB but there is no way for the child to know that. But that is just a minor note in an otherwise good app for strengthening pattern recognition skills.

Good patterning app. Shows progress and has audio encouragement. Wish the selections were slide and drop. Once a student touches a guess, it is selected. Watch those fingers unless they are sure.
