I got through one and a half modules of this sql course and it was pretty easy but pretty good. The minute I rated it as good it popped up with a “newer version of this app is available message” which I could not get past to complete module 2 and which was the larger learning to code app which then tried to force you to enter personal info and create an account. All I wanted to do was continue with the sql app I was using. Not sucking into this app
There’s no explanation of XP. All I know is despite a correct answer I get an insufficient XP to continue error message. So I’m stuck and no idea how to solve
If you’re an SQL newbie, this app offers a nice way to reinforce what you might be or will be learning. Thus far in the course, it’s been really basic stuff.
Drag and drop questions rarely work. If you can even select the answer you can’t drop the answer in the proper spot. This is using an iPhone SE with iOS 12. The content has been good, I just can’t get anywhere because I can’t answer the questions. Very frustrating.
Many of the lessons fail to define and seem to assume you know basic terms. I’m sure that’s fine if you have a working knowledge of coding, but for a beginner, is frustrating.
Got halfway through the app and then tried to charge me $47/yr to continue, and I had to download another app. I don’t mind paying for education, but it’s annoying to be interrupted and misled. Just charge upfront.
I blew through this course in an hour or so. It was fun but a little easy! Would love addition of more complicated quizzes.
