I can't believe it

This program doesn't even have grammatical genders for nouns, which is absolutely inexcusable. The lack of grammatical genders renders every noun on this program useless Verbs can still be used.

I have been able to communicate with several Norwegians through Facebook. Thanks to this program I can pick up about 1/4 of their wall post. Though i'm still not sure if the program is in Bokmal or Nynorsk?
Good potential but currently half-baked

For $10 I expect a non-crashing and complete app. This is neither. It *is* kind of neat, but they have a ways to go to finish it. For example, I started with the "buildings" section, and out of the 20 or so words there, 5 or 6 do not have audio pronunciations. If you choose to do the flashcards with the audio as the clue, these are included, which is rather pointless. And on the one word that has some extra content (sample sentences and phrases, which is a great idea) there is no audio for the extra goodies. I'm running it on an iPad 2 and it crashes a LOT. Have tried reboots, hard reboots, reinstalls (all as suggested on the developer's website FAQ) but it's still apt to freeze or quit on a whim. Hopefully updates will bring the missing content and stability, because it's a nice idea and a good start, but right now it's a hit-or-miss and moderately flaky experience.

This is the perfect app for learning norwegian. It's very helpful towards memorization and grammar. The speakers also speak clearly and I don't have trouble understanding them. Overall this is a great app and I would recommend it if you would like to learn norwegian. I'd give this app 5 stars, but i would just like it if there were a couple more words to help me work on my fluency.

I enjoy the ability to review and repeat lessons. Lessons allow plenty of practice.
