Great app

らいぐん

This has been a great app, only negative I can give it is an issue when using the quizzes. Sometimes it will give you the translation for something like おう being king but give you two choices for king and only one of them is counted as right. There are a few other times this happens as well I think it might be giving a choice to a different writing of the word or different kana as between hiragana and katakana It's a minor gripe for a bug in the program but is just annoying enough for me to mark down a star.

Good learning app

This app is awesome for learning basic Japanese. The pronunciations and lessons are very helpful. The quiz feature is also very good for learning vocabulary.

This app is awesome. It worth to purchase it. But I just want to report a issue. So in the lesson of katakana. There should be 3 characters in chapter 10. But wo is missing. I can't see it in chapter 10. Only wa and n. Hope it can be fixed. I really like this app.

I had been struggling to learn this language for months. Then I found this app and have found that it helps me not only learn faster, but hold onto the information I have learned.

Disappointed

Air Hostess

I spent 10.$ for this ap to learn a few phrases. When the video comes on the sound is static and I can't hear anything. Such a waste of 10$.

Very useful

Esopmodela

Best app for learning Japanese. Well worth the price. It has lessons for grammar, which a lot of apps don't. It isn't just a list of vocabulary or phrases. The study cards come in handy and when you think you're ready you can take the quiz. I also appreciate the fact that most words and phrases have spoken clips since pronunciation and spoken word are key to learning a language. It's great as a stand alone tool and essential as a study companion.

JPhrases app not too bad

This app has good content, but type is very small (I cannot read some content) and some features don’t work on my WiFi connected iPhone 6. I would love to try this with larger type and ability to make all functions work.
