I paid $20 for this app a few years ago. Wanted to pick up some language skills and it says I can’t download it because the app hasn’t been updated to be compatible with IOS 11. What happened?

I love this app I just need an update so continue using it

This app was amazing. I learned so much by using this app but suddenly the developers stopped updating and I can’t use it at all anymore :( I paid for the full language package for nothing. I was half way done with Spanish and starting Japanese. Wish they would continue to update I can’t find any app that compares

Odd fangirl

I got this app a while ago and used it to learn numerous words in Japanese in a colorful and fun way. Today I tried to redownload the app because I am now taking actual Japanese classes and found that I could not download it because it doesn’t work with the latest version of IOS. So please update it! I love this app!

This was my favorite language app until it stopped working after an update. I saw another app that has very similar looking features. I’m wondering, or assuming, this company just changed names to get us to pay them again. I bought it in Japanese and Italian. They were the most expensive of all the language apps, but at the time seemed to be worth the buck. But after this debacle, I wish I never gave them my money. I think we should get refunds for this company so they wouldn’t be so willing to walk away from their clients only to pull some scam with a new name.

Mindsnacks has changed and moved on, not enough money to make vs the time to fix the app. They can’t even spare one engineer to slowly go through all the games @ElevateLabs. The demand is here! The money has been spent and a great learning game has been lost to the void of small developers. @ElevateLabs, if you cannot do it, give up on the IP and let someone else do the minimal updates to make it work through iOS and Android updates. It’s true your company is small and going through each language to make them work is a time consuming event! This app is not like most models, I do not pay a dollar for a few hours of extra gameplay, no, I pay an upfront fee to get the game forever. Now I cannot play a game I have paid for. I am more disappointed in the fact that you have just given up and left it to rot. Many people worked on this! They spent their time working for you to help others learn! And how do treat them? By giving up on their work, Just terribly disappointing. I’m sure many still work with you, on your new adventure, Elevate. What do they say when they hear you’ve left their work to rot? As an artist and worker bee myself, I’d be insulted, and you should be ashamed of yourself of not taking responsibility of your work and more importantly others people hard earned money. Disappointing.

I love this app but please update This is my favorite learning app it's the easiest way to learn Japanese (for me atleast ) the games really help with the learning process please do a update for iOS 11 soon

I was going to pay money to unlock extra content, because only the numbers part is free, but the developer just abandoned this app and now I can’t open it anymore because it needs an update for iOS11. ???

You pay for software for a system and you think that means you can use that software. The company stops updating and it doesnt run on the newer os. No wonder people say open source is better! I gave 5 star because i think apple is more at fault than the developers.
