Every once in a while the spoken word doesn’t match the listed word (one example - the italian word for wide.) But still a great app.
Wouldn’t Load and Froze Up my iPad

I read all of the great reviews and loaded the app; but when I tried to use it it sat w/ the cover photo only, wouldn’t open and seemed to freeze up my iPad. I had to turn the iPad off and restart in airplane mode to delete it. Not sure what’s going on here!!

Started using a few weeks ago. Works across multiple apps. Keeps me engaged learning Italian vocabulary. Like the app's links to radio stations, too.

I use Duolingo mostly but wanted something I could have on while at work and not have to constantly look and type, this app does just that. It's a lot of repetition of just words, no sentences. Also, the English accent throws off even some of the English words unless you're looking at it. It's a good app to use in addition with another like Duolingo if you want something to just listen to Italian while also hearing the translation.
I REALLY want to give this 5 stars buuuut...

...NEW UPDATE..what I have realized about this app is...if you do not have 'good' (fast) internet (I have sat internet) it is very dificult to download the lessons. Having said that, this is a wonderful way to learn Italian vocab! It uses spaced repetition which has really helped me retain words. This even has a sleep learning mode so you can sleep and learn! The problem is, for whatever reason, I tried downloading two courses and they will not work and I cannot delete them and retry downloading them. I have this for a Samsung (which I DESPISE! Yayyy, iPhone!) and it works well so I would imagine it will work better on my iPad. Please keep up the good work! AND, this is free! Enjoy!
