Legit amazing

HiItsHeather

Totally free, no purchase necessary to finish the app. After 20 minutes I was already confident in 3 letters, from 0 knowledge of Arabic. ?????? there are ads, but it's a free app, that does what it says it will, and well. Deal.

Excellent just keeps crashing!

Carl_III

The app is simple and easy to use! I am disappointed that it keeps crashing.

Thank you

MegaAwesomeGamingTV

I've been using this app for about two days and the only problem I have is that it keeps crashing other than that it's a good app. I'm using it to help me learn Arabic Bc my family is Middle eastern, I can speak it and not read it.

Solid, for a free app

This is a very simple, straight forward app for learning the Arabic alphabet. Letters are organized into five separate groups. You learn and test each letter individually, then test the group as a whole and play a series of games which unlock the next group. Each group is also organized into a chart, which shows you what each letter in the group looks like separated or connected. You can also pay $2.99 for premium which unlocks all of the levels and removes the add. Pros: The app uses pictograms for most letters (I.e ن looks like ? nuts) which helps with learning and remembering the letters much faster. The games are simple and quick without being annoying. The app doesn't crash. You probably could get through the whole app within a day if you really focused on it. Cons: The biggest one is the ads. They take up the whole screen, and many of them have no way to close them without clicking on them or closing the app. (You can avoid them by disconnecting from the internet.) Sometimes a white bar shows up at the bottom of the screen and blocks the bottom of games, though without interfering in game play. Part of the tests and some of the games are very difficult to play without sound. The letter names seem to be non-standard (i.e. ن is called na rather than nun). The bubble game spawns letters on top of each other, occasionally making it hard if not impossible to click a certain letter. The learning modules don't include writing guides, and the app can only be used in portrait mode. These are mostly minor nuisances that don't affect the core functionality of the app.

This app is amazing!

It's fun, the creator of the app came up with really good, cute mnemonic devices to remember the letters, and it works. I wish this existed for every non-Latin alphabet.
