I have several apps to help me learn my German Nouns. This one is one of my favorites! It helps you learn the articles, but tells you the meaning of the word.

It's kind of buggy and does not have make options for games. Some of the genders are wrong and there is no way to delete nouns that you don't think are useful or simply don't want to be quizzed on. In fact, a lot of the nouns they chose are not useful. The background instructions behind what type of words match each gender are helpful though, and it does manage to get you practicing.
