Decent concept, but wrong vocabulary

This app would have been great if not for the fact that the highlighted vocabulary are typically what you would easily guess. They should rather focus on the words that are not similar in sound or spelling across the two languages.
Crashes without opening.

If you are reading this and you are thinking of buying, do so! It's a great app for advance beginner and up and it will help you learn more French. I think this is a fantastic app, I can't get enough of it. Maybe I wish they had something for everyday news, like a 20 minutes 10 o'clock news. I would give them even more money for that!!!

Depuis la mis en jour a version 4.0, l’application ne marche pas pour moi. J’utilise un iPad 2 avec iOS 8.4.1. Dommage.

I've used this app daily since getting it aprox. 2 years ago. I feel that it has greatly advanced my spelling ability as well as expanded my French vocabulary. I recommend it to all levels of students as a quick and painless way to advance in your learning the language.
App won't open

The App won't open. When I tap the icon the welcome page appears for around three seconds and then it shut itself down. I tried restarting my phone and it changed nothing.

How can they provide this amazing app for only $1.99? 3 news articles a week, written and narrated, which I can play over and over, words and phrases explained, games to help learn the new words, this app is unique and exactly what I need to accustom my ear to real French. Thank you so much. Not only that, but the articles are interesting and useful information, which appear simultaneously in other, major news sources. Simply wonderful. Weeks later: I would like to give this app 10 stars, it is so perfectly wonderful. There is even a built in dictionary, and the memorization tools are superb. If you are learning French, you need this app!

I use the app everyday. Overall it is a good app, but... it sometimes crashes when it goes to play the news clip. Not all clips but just certain ones. It's a strange failure mode.
