It shows you the French word to practice and when you speak the word, the app will tell you how well you said the word and give you a score. If you score well you catch a fish. If you score poorly you get a boot.
It is a heavy app and sometimes fails to load on startup. To avoid this, make sure you close all apps first. It also needs ios5. If there are bugs please let me know so I can fix it A.S.A.P.

Frustrating and Disappointing!

Great idea. However, even when saying a word very well, the voice recognition reads it as incorrect. English is our primary language and we are an educated, well spoken family. After frustration with the French Ottercall, We downloaded the English version as well, just to see if it would say our English words were incorrect. As suspected, the program often said we were speaking English incorrectly, as well. I encourage the developers to continue working on the game as, if it were to work, it would be a great resource for parent and teachers.
