In a simple drag-and-drop game, make your way through the levels as fast as you by matching the picture with the corresponding words. Hear the pronunciation of the words by simply clicking the box of the word. Remember, you're being timed!
After finishing a level you can restart the level to see if you can do it faster, continue to the next level, or post the time for your level to Facebook and let your friends know the time they have to beat.
Very user friendly and great for kids (or anyone) to learn the language! Great job Troy?
I like this app a lot. I wish it was designed to be more like other language learning apps. It would be really helpful to have a section where you have the Chamorro word, the English word, and the picture with the pronunciation. Then have a quiz that follows to see what you learned. That being said, I like that I now have a tool that helps me learn Chamorro.
The drag and match gets old quickly. If I get a selection wrong, I am never assisted with the correct answer. The standard for free language apps is Duolingo. I respectfully recommend that this be Learn Chamorro's model or guide. Regards, James
The only thing I saw wrong was "feet" you had the translation as "patas". For a human feet is "Atdeng" patas is for animals. Other than that thank you for starting what I hope to be a success in remembering our language
Got frustrated early in the game cause it does not teach you what the words meant in the first place. So we're constantly guessing & there is no way to find out which words matched & which didn't. With that said, it's a start. Just needs more work to be an effective learning tool.
