Not Worth The Price

MikeMcE

This app has a single major flaw that makes it essentially unusable. You can't zoom the base, background image to assist with placing the overlay effect. You're stuck with your image crammed full scale onto the screen of your iPhone. Also, the app only works in portrait mode on the phone. So, you can't rotate the phone to work in landscape orientation, even if you're working on an image that was taken in landscape orientation. As a result, the finished product is, well, amateurish at best. Now, of course we're talking about using an app to overlay false effects onto an image. But if you want your results to look even remotely realistic, precise placement of the effect matters. And If you're lucky enough to be able to place your effect in the right spot, you can almost guarantee that, 9 times out of 10 when you lift your finger from the screen, the effect will move, if only just a little bit. That's not something one would expect from a subscription-based app that costs $12 per year to use. I recommend looking elsewhere.

Desaturates my photos

MeeksTheGreat

Everytime I try to edit a photo from my stand alone camera it desaturates the heck out of it

GET IT.

WOW! Best app ever! Can’t believe it’s free, I love it so much and it makes my pictures so much better! Don’t usually write reviews but I had to this really is a great app.

Shrinks the file size way too much

theriversiren

I have the paid version and it’s fine for posting on Instagram or Facebook but I can’t print any of the images I make with this app because it makes the file size too small. I’m disappointed. I would be happy to give this app 5 stars if I could keep the size the same as when I import it.

Needs UI overhaul and an iPad version desperately

Ajlh94

The effects are fantastic and very high quality. The UI on iPhone has a lot to be desired. You need to be able to manipulate the image itself by allowing users to crop, zoom and rotate the base background mage. It needs to allow landscape in addition to the forced portrait orientation. It also desperately needs an iPad version. A ton of photographers use their phones and iPads as their main editing tool now a days. The effects are great. The app itself needs work.

iPad Pro support?

LOVE the app! Would love it even more if I could use it for my iPad!

Does not work with large Photo libraries

jpsweet

This is premium app targeting photography with one workflow. Photos must be retrieved from Photos app. If a photographer has a large photo library which most do, the app simply doesn’t work. Apple has had guidance on how to work with large libraries for several years. Please go watch the WWDC iOS Photo Library developer sessions, fix the behavior and I will change my review. Otherwise the app is useless. For a subscription based app, that is simply not acceptable as is.

Rip off

QNaima

I’ve had this app for years. I paid for it, used it, loved it. Now I find that they’ve removed half the effects and want $12 per year! No, thanks. It’s been real but I’ll make sure no one I know ever downloads this app... ever. This is extortion. I don’t bow to dirty blackmailers.

Meh.

Needs more! It’s good but there’s not enough cool effects and different options. Add more! Basically, do some updates and get creative.
