Fantastic reimagining of the Tomb Raider series

I installed this game awhile ago and at first I just wasn’t into it. But I reinstalled it again a few months later and have it another shot, and I’m glad I did. I just finished the entire game from beginning to end, collecting every gem and relic possible, and unlocking every new outfit. Had a blast playing the game. The puzzles are incredibly clever, especially the two newer levels that were added (I’ll admit I checked YouTube on only two of the levels total). My only gripe is that while playing a level, there’s no way to see how many gems/relic pieces there are on that level. I found myself constantly going back to “the book” where it tells you on each page how many there should be. Some kind of notice at the beginning of each level would be great. I had to replay a number of levels to collect items I didn’t know I had even missed. But still a five star game. Hoping they add more levels in the future!

Perfect!!

If there’s a perfect game on the iOS store, this is it. Everything about Lara Croft Go is of the highest caliber which means fantastic art, sound design, music, and gameplay. The game really captures what is at ultimately the heart of the franchise: exploration and puzzle solving in exotic and mysterious locations. I’ve played through the game many times, still trying to find all the relics. The last chapter called Mirror of Spirits is also well done; the mirror mechanic being very clever. It’s a very casual game, but absolutely a fantastic, five star experience. Devs: I’m sure there are many fans out there (me included) that are hoping hoping hoping you’ll make a second fantastic Lara Croft Go!

Enjoyably FRUSTRATING

Lara revisited

CrimsonBullseye

It's nice to see Lara back in action. This is more reminiscent of the look of the original Tomb Raider games rather than some of the more recent games. To me this is a good thing. Good puzzles of average difficulty. No required in-app purchases.

No iPhone X compatibility

Why has this game not been updated for the iPhone X, seriously?

Pretty, but...

... I really wish the game had iPhone X screen optimization. The black borders look awful.

Love it!

It has been a while since I’ve enjoyed a game this much! I like casual games; games that you can put down and pick up whenever you want without the need to finish a level; games that are simple enough to understand so that you don’t need a tutorial to play. This is one such game. Plus, the graphics are incredible. The puzzles are challenge, yet not frustrating. And it has become my favorite game on my iPhone. I hope they make a sequel!

Puzzles are mostly pretty easy

Arj423

The game can be fun but I would say 75% of the puzzles are easy, 20% are intermediate level, and only 5% are hard. If you’re fine with that then buy the game. It’s fun to play when you have down time

Top Notch iPad\iPhone game

Ryan Shimmy

Clever gameplay, along with good visuals and very good music and sound effects that fit seamlessly. This is a must have for anyone with an iDevice. 5/5 and well worth the $5.

LOVED IT

I love puzzle games with great graphics. Only problem is that there is no tutorial at first, but controls are simple so it's not really necessary. Still, it would be a nice touch. I love how animals are in the game! The dragon snake character is such a great idea. I hope you make a second game!
