i feel like the camera doesn’t actually give much of a film look. it’s more like a 2021 interpretation of what film must have looked like. the filter is a little too modernized and not very personal and the pictures feel edited when they’re not supposed to be. other than that i really love the concept and i’m looking forward to the fully updated and public version whenever it comes out.

found out about this app from an ad before it actually launched, just got it a few days ago when it finally did. LOVE IT. my friends and i are already having fun, and it’s free!! ❤️❤️

Fun “film” camera app

I think this is such a cool idea. Not really knowing what the picture will look like until it “develops”. A really cool idea. Also really cool to have a shared roll with friends! Some bugs with some invites so hopefully that gets fixed, but otherwise a really cool and fun app. Love the “analog” style. Part of the fun is waiting for the pics to develop and waiting to see how they’ll turn out, just like film photography.

Photo not developing after 3 days

Thought it was lame that I have to wait 1 day for the photo to develop but thought ok whatever. It’s been 3 days and I still haven’t gotten my photo

i like the camera quality but its upsetting that i have to wait 24 hours to see the picture i took. what if i didn’t like it? what if my eyes were closed? i wouldn’t know until a full day later and that moment can no longer be captured.

Yeah, I’m gonna be real: I really wanted to like Lapse. I pre ordered it off tiktok when they first started advertising it, and I was SO excited. But honestly, I was using it for the waiting feature, not to be bullied into adding my contacts/have a “social experience” only to be given an ugly and non-removable watermark over my photos. As far as disposable camera apps go, this one is far at the bottom for me - try Dispo (if you like waiting) or Huji (if you don’t) as both of them are far superior.
