Fun and relaxing!

Simple to play and difficult to master - love the immersive audio and visuals of the game!

It's super fun! The game includes a multiplayer turn system that is akin to "Words With Friends" so take your turn on your time when you are able! It is a delightful game, and loads of fun to play with friends! It has a lot of very zen elements (music, art, sound effects, Koi) that make this game an enjoyably relaxing experience. There is also ranked play with global and friend leaderboards! Time to determine who has the bragging rights and is the best among your friends! If you love the board game, you will not regret purchasing this app. See you on the lake!

Asynchronous gameplay!

Lanterns is a great, fun puzzle experience. Plus it is nice to see more asynchronous games on the app store! Only thing holding it back from 5 stars is the lack of audio controls. Highly recommended!

I adore this app! The art and animations are absolutely beautiful, and I love the zen like music and sound effects. As for the gameplay, it's an engaging yet not too complicated puzzle/strategy game, that requires just the right amount of concentration to help destress and relax after a long day! Being able to play my match turns against other players asynchronously is a huge plus in my book, as a lot of my friends and family do not have schedules that line up with mine. I also love the offline play functionally, so I don't always need internet/data access to get my zen on ? This is a 10/10 in my book!

UI in game is easy to use, and it's easy to pick up and play. The game itself is fun to play, even if you're bad at it like me haha!

Wasn't sure how this would look on my iPhone 5S, but it's beautiful. Gameplay is fascinating too.

Great game, good app

Lanterns is one of my favorite board games and the app is a pretty faithful adaptation. The graphics are beautiful, but it's hard to keep track of lantern cards and honor points and there is no way to go back if you misclick and make a wrong choice, which is definitely frustrating playing on mobile where it's very easy to misplace a tile or click the wrong color to exchange.
