So I received an email from this company saying “YOU were mentioned in a conversation in a LANE at my university”. So I signed in to find out that this was a trick and no one mentioned anything, in fact it’s a scam to get you to use their app. There are hundreds of very angry students at this ploy.

The app is super user friendly and allows me to stay connected with all other students on my university’s campus! Plus the anonymous lane is pretty cool too!

I received an email telling me that someone added me to LANE at my university. After observing the general consensus, this was not true. Hundreds of people apparently received the same email telling them that they were added, although no one invited them. It was just Lane trying to get me to use their stupid social media platform. Please, read this if you are about to get tricked into downloading it.
