If you do not currently own a Land Rover fitted with Land Rover InControl Protect you can still install this App and try the demo mode.
Now you can do all of this even from your Apple Watch. Be advised that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Amazing they can’t get this right

It won’t even launch on my iPhone 8+. Crazy. I haven’t tried it for months, hoping it’s better, but nope. Still the same.
Even with the latest fixes, still horrible.

If I want to autostart my $150,000 vehicle, I can only do so with this app that only works a small fraction of the time. Crashes constantly. Takes 10 min to load to get to the remote start. Then it will attempt to “contact vehicle” and you may or may not get your car started. I live in Las Vegas and it’s 113 degrees outside right now. I just want my autostart to work!!!!

Well I’ve deleted the app a few times and added it again and to no avail. The app won’t connect to my car anymore. It says updating for a long time and network timeout. I don’t want to criticize the developers but somethings not right here.

Nearly $100k spent on a new RRS with all the options. One thing more than anything that’s needed in TX is remote start which I was told was no problem with the LR remote app. After 11 months of ownership it’s maybe worked 5 out of 100 attempts. Call LR they tell me to go to dealer, go to dealer and they have no idea and tell me to call LR. Never had this kind of run around with Mercedes so selling the RRS as a lemon and heading back to the 3 pointed star!
Add TouchID/FaceID support for 5 stars!

This app works fine for me however I find having to enter my username and password each time frustrating... can you enable FaceID and/or TouchID to make this app more seamless?

I really expect more from this app. I have a cheap home security system that tells me more than this app does on my Land Rover. I opened the app and it told me a door was ajar and that it was unlocked. I remotely locked it which was great but there is no dashboard to tell me the time it was unlocked or how long it had been like that. I would like to see a dashboard that tells me when incidents occur. Also, I called Incontrol customer service to see if anyone else had remote access to my vehicle. Being a victim of domestic violence, previous car theft, and identity theft, it is important for me to be extra vigilant. They could not tell me if there were any other devices linked to my account or logged in to the app. There are so many simple things this app could do but doesn't. I would like to see the app developers step up their game and offer an app that befits a luxury vehicle.

This should work in 2018. Horrible app. The fact that the computer shuts down unless you tell it to wake up is completely asinine- what if you come home from work trip early etc etc. so so dumb
Add a tump print recognition!

I’m not satisfied with this app but hoping it gets better. Every time I try to use the app it forces me to type in my email address and password. I don’t know why it won’t save personal info. Saving info and adding the tump print recognition would save time!
