I love tower defense games and have played a huge number of them, and "Lair Defense: Dungeon" blows them ALL away, hands down, no contest. In appearance, it looks smoothly and professionally finished. The appropriately themed background music and sound effects are superb, and you won't rush to turn them off after the first 10 seconds! The background music truly adds a "Conan the Barbarian" feel! Many "Hoorays!" are due to the sound artists who worked on this this game! Contrary to what some have written, it IS beatable without spending real-world dollars, with *excellent* scaling on the difficulty! Just choose carefully which between level items you purchase then upgrade (and at between what levels). When playing a level, keep experimenting with dragon placement, upgrade order and extent, and so on, until you can beat the level at will. Just always remember, "It can be done!" ; ) In the worst case, you may have to repeat sections to raise cash for critical upgrades to get past certain points (I happen to consider things like that part of any game's play!) CONCLUSION- If you like tower defense games, "Lair Defense: Dungeon" is an absolutely, no-doubt, must get. If you have never played a game of this type, you couldn't make a better first choice! ALSO- Be sure to check out the second game in the series, "Lair Defense: Shrine"! It's every thing the first game is, but tougher! Another 5-Star App!

Ok, so I download this game & it's awesome!! It's 2 weeks later & all of a sudden the app no longer responds to me. So now I'm addicted & have no way to play! I have a new IPhone4 and all other apps/games respond quite well even after 6 months. BUMMER
