Neither the 6yo or the 9yo choose this from the educational apps I have for them. The sounds and graphics aren't interesting. You "win a star" for correct spelling but nothing happens visually. On the up-side, you can put in words of your own, and it's better than memorizing them off a sheet of paper.

I purchased this because it says you can add words. What it doesn't tell you is the place to add is hard to find and then when you only one game is for added words. It's just a basic spell (type letters) after the word is read aloud. Nothing cool like scramble or dropping letters for your own words. Also the spell list does not transfer across all devices.
