Don't

Nope. Not worth it! Very childish and far to easy. Took me an hour to complete. The last month they've had horrible games!!!

Forbidden Muse - disappointingly short

Could have been oh so wonderful....gorgeous art, unique story, an adorable helper......but the constant freaking begging for ratings pop up from big fish plus the shortness of the game ....sorry I had to deduct points. The BF pop ups would have earned this 1 star but I didn't want to hold the developers responsible for BF begging (most undignified to beg for ratings guys! Are you really that desperate?) the deduction of a star is solely for the too short length. It really was a fabulous game it just needed to be twice as long or half the price. Other than that: only vermin I saw was a jazz playing quartet, has transporting indicated map, logical game play but is a tad sloooooow in places.

Too easy!

This game is too easy. Objects are easy to find and mini games are too simple. This would be fine for a newbie HOG player, but not worth the money for anyone who has played these before.

You Don't Want to be an Artist in This Town: It's Forbidden!

First of all, I would like to share some suggestions on other games to play; I enjoyed them both: 1. "Order of the Rose": If you play this, purchase the out front paid version for .99 cents; otherwise, you have to unlock the same game for $3.99. But it is worth the cheaper version. It has a great storyline, very nice graphics, good journal to follow story, no map but not needed at all, good puzzles, and glitch free. I did a review. Worth the price. 2. "Castle - Never Judge a Book By its Cover": It's a good mystery thriller with teleport map with task indications, snarky humor at times, murder board with suspects and evidence, word lists with interaction or switch to silhouettes, fun puzzles, has real life-like crime scenarios like interrogation in room or cell, and lots of interactivity with devices. Go check it out! Now on to the review: The graphics are very pretty, being fairly sharp and clear, with rich, darker but vibrant colors accentuating the intricacy of the detailed artwork. I only saw a snake-like rope, but it's not very scary. You can customize your settings. Inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. The teleport map indicates available actions and the extras (vases you break to acquire coins) in custom mode; you can view your Boudoir Room, Gallery, and Shop through the map as well. You have a Harlequin doll as a helper. You collect occupational costumes to dress her; thereafter, she performs relative actions, such as repairing a leaf blower while wearing repairman's costume. You use different elements, such as a painters palette to bring pictures of birds to life. There are nice background animations whereas statues will pop out at you and make menacing noises upon touch. The HOS are varied; some types are "find and use", find pairs of items, and word lists. The puzzles are varied as well; one type is rotate a circular board using arrows to move a ball through a maze to the bottom. You collect olives in the locations to furnish the Boudoir Room; you collect coins to upgrade the user interface, such as your doll's chair. This game got three stars because there is no journal or back button, it implements very linear gameplay, transition is slow and clunky at times, and it is flying by fast to lead one to believe that this will be a short game. Not one of the best!

Be Careful With Calliope!

This game contains many of my favorite things, including art work, pretty antiques, and costumes. You even get a little doll companion who finds costumes that miraculously fit into the story. She looks like Jeannie in I Dream of Jeannie, and finds costumes such as a handy person, a snake charmer, or a cowgirl to complete actions in the story. If you use your Magic Paint Pallette, you may bring paintings to life, such as a marten who can climb objects to retrieve something for you. Also, you must break each vase you find to acquire money to decorate a boudoir. When you touch plants, they release swarms of butterflies. All very nice, but a longer game would have been better. You are trying to discover why the goddess, Calliope, has been split into pieces and is so angry. I liked the game and the premise, but I love a longer story. Good luck pleasing Calliope!

I haven't finished it yet but almost and so far I am enjoying this game. It has great graphics, really good puzzles and no glitches. It gets 5 stars. Great job team.

Fun game - but short

Ceamini

Enjoyed the game - wish it had been longer - I only played for one hour and I was done. Some of the mini games were very inventive - some classics you have seen before. Art was crisp and clear. HOPs were interactive and there was an alternate option

cOlorful and fun

Great game. Kept me intrigued. Caliope was a fun addition! I do understand the comments in regards to game being short.. However i do recall other games in the past with ratings up to 4.5 that were in my opinion on the short side. 5 stars for the overall game for being colorful, fun and different.

Entertaining

It's a decent game. The graphics are good and the puzzles fun. Definitely worth the money.

not my favorite

This was just an o.k. game. I thought initially that it would be a nice long game, but not so. Had a hard time getting into the story, even though the graphics and hidden object scenes were good. Good voiceovers, just not exciting in my opinion. Overall, disappointed. Kdboots
