Works like it should

stevenwt2

Used it throughout a night of contractions and it worked flawlessly. No crashes, no problems, and it was easy to keep track of an average. If there was anything to update about the app, I would want the 'Summary' screen to be able to average based on a time period or number of contractions (average over last 5 contractions or over last hour, etc.) as an average over the entire night can be a little misleading. However, that is looking to the next version - good luck.

Great program. One suggestion

CJ I Can't Lie

Rolling average versus total average. An intelligent time based/event based rolling average for the summary screen. Currenty it averages from all contractions

Decent App

Wannabecool

Overall a good app. However it needs the ability to manual add a contraction and edit recorded contractions. It would also be helpful to have a timer that would estimate how long until the next contraction based on the average time between contractions. Overall needs a little more work but it is simple to use. Will update rating if changes are made.

Cool app

The contraction summary was helpful when things started getting stressful. Definately helped

Great App!

Best 99 cents I have spent for an app. Worked great for my wife and works great for helping track feedings! Thanks the the great inexpensive app.

Used today to deliver our little baby girl

My wife and I used this app just this morning to assist in the delivery of our baby girl. It was great to measure the contractions and then send the data to our midwife. I would only recommend that an "Are you sure?" is added before deleting your data. Job well done!

Enlightened App, Not Description

Rybeana

We used this application for the homebirth of our first son. And plan to use it again with the birth of our second (also at home). It exceeded our expectations in both function and versatility. Easy to use, helpful to email to my doula/midwife, and a meaningful souvenir from my labor experience! Great organized keepsake, told it's own story. I have no complaints about the application itself. However its description includes only hospital birth usage, and seems unaware that a growing number of people are using this app with midwives, at birth centers and at homebirths. You'd get 'style points' for having a more inclusive description of births!

Not much more than a Braxton Hicks-O-Meter

This works great for false labor; I used it every night for a week - sometimes for three hours at a time and I thought it would be neat to mail the info to our midwife. However, when my labor actually started and my water broke two days ago, I thought of this AP and how it would be the last thing I'd do @ 3 min apart & how my review might say: if you're using this, it is false labor...

Really?

This timer worked fine for us, but I have to ask - does the timer really need 1/10th of a second? We are not timing F1. It just detracts from the clarity of the data and adds an odd sense of urgency!

Solid app and responsive developers

Searching through labor/contraction apps reveals that none are super strong. For example, why don't any if them allow syncing between devices or the web so that partners can share and input data. However, this app has a nice UI and seems very strong. It should prove useful during our pending labor. Nice job!
